Guía de respuesta · Marketing
How to reply to marketing posts on X: the post types you meet, angles that add real campaign detail, six sample replies and the mistakes to skip.
Marketing on X is copywriters, growth people, agency owners, founders who do their own marketing, and a lot of accounts selling courses about all of it. The posts are hooks and frameworks, campaign breakdowns, ad screenshots and arguments about channels: SEO versus social, brand versus performance, cold email versus everything.
Replies are where marketers judge each other's real experience. A framework thread gets hundreds of "saving this" replies. The one that says which step failed when you ran it for a client, or what the conversion rate did after a headline change, is the one people click. Marketers also respect a good line, so a sharp, short reply about a detail of someone's ad gets noticed.
01
"The 5-step formula for landing pages." Pick one step and add what happened when you used it, or where it breaks.
02
Someone dissects a brand's billboard or a viral ad. Add the detail they missed, or the version that would work for a smaller budget.
03
Is SEO dead, does cold email still work, should startups do brand. Bring the channel results from your own work, with context.
04
Open rates, ad spend versus revenue, traffic graphs. Ask about the audience, the offer or the time frame behind the number.
01
Say what happened when you applied the advice: the metric that moved, the one that did not. One honest outcome beats agreement.
02
A 40% open rate means little without the list size and the audience. A precise question about the baseline shows you have read many dashboards.
03
Tactics depend on price point, audience and channel. Saying which context a framework fits, and which it does not, is useful pushback.
04
Under a copy or headline post, a short alternative line can be the best reply. Keep it to one suggestion and present it as a variation, not a correction.
05
Fake urgency timers, "limited spots", the word "hack". Marketers laugh at their own trade, so a light joke about a habit lands well.

Tested this order on a B2B page. Moving the social proof above the pain section did better for us, the buyers wanted to know who else used it first.

Is that after cleaning the list? Ours jumped 20 points the week we removed everyone who hadn't opened in six months.

Our search traffic dropped on simple how-to pages and held on comparison pages. Feels more like a shift in which pages work than a death.

Hook for your next post: "I made every mistake so you don't have to."

"I made every mistake" is a lot of mistakes to promise. "I made this one mistake for two years" might be easier to believe.

Cold email still works if you do it right. Personalise the first line and keep it under 100 words.
