50 product launch tweet ideas for founders and indie makers

A launch tweet has one job: make the right person understand what you built and who it is for in the time it takes to scroll past. The ones that work name a specific problem, show the product doing something, and give one clear next step. The ones that flop open with "Excited to announce" and never say what the thing does.

Chaque tweet de cette page est original, écrit pour que vous le publiiez ou l'adaptiez. Les crochets indiquent les parties à compléter.

These templates cover the whole arc: the weeks before, launch day, showing the product, the update launches that come later, and the honest recap afterwards. Replace every bracket with something concrete. A real number, a real customer type or a real screenshot will do more than any adjective.

Comment faire mouche

  • Say what the product does in the first line. If someone reads only that line, they should know whether it is for them.
  • Show it working. A screenshot, a short screen recording or a before and after does more than a paragraph of claims.
  • Name a limit. Saying what the product does not do yet makes everything else you say more believable.
  • Spend launch day in your replies, not on your next post. Answer every question under your launch tweet and in the threads where people mention it.
  • Post a recap a week later with real numbers, even small ones. Launches are one day; the follow-up is what people remember.
