50 Thanksgiving tweet ideas: grateful, funny and for brands

Thanksgiving timelines fill up with the same "so grateful for everyone" post by mid-morning. The ones people actually stop on name one specific thing: the cousin who always brings the wrong pie, the client who paid on time all year, the five minutes of quiet before the oven timer goes off.

Chaque tweet de cette page est original, écrit pour que vous le publiiez ou l'adaptiez. Les crochets indiquent les parties à compléter.

Below are 50 tweets sorted by mood. Swap in your own details. A gratitude tweet with a real name of a thing in it beats a polished one every time.

Comment faire mouche

  • Name one concrete thing. "Grateful for my team" disappears in the feed. "Grateful for the teammate who covered my launch while I was sick" gets replies.
  • Post before noon your time. By late afternoon people are at the table and the timeline is mostly photos of plates.
  • Brands: skip the discount in the Thanksgiving tweet itself. Save the offer for Black Friday so the thank-you reads as a thank-you.
  • Leave room for people who find the day hard. One line acknowledging people working or eating alone goes a long way.
  • Ask a question your followers can answer in one word, like their family's odd side dish. Easy replies keep the post alive all day.
