50 hiring tweet ideas for startups and small teams

A hiring tweet competes with every other post in the feed, so a job title and a link rarely work. The posts that get good candidates say what the person will actually do in their first months, who they will work with, the salary range if you can share it, and one honest thing about the job that a job board would never print.

本页所有推文均为原创,供你直接发布或修改使用。方括号标出的是需要你填写的部分。

These templates cover announcing a role, describing it plainly, asking your network for referrals, showing how the team works, and closing the loop once someone is hired. Fill in [role], [team], [salary range] and the rest with specifics. The more concrete you are, the fewer wrong applicants you'll get.

  12. 12

Two roles open at [company]: [role] and [role]. Both remote, both with salary ranges in the post.

Describing the job honestly

  1. 13

Honest job description for our [role] opening: - [main task], most days - some [less fun task] - a lot of say in what we build next

  2. 14

What this [role] job is not: managing a big team or working on a polished process. What it is: building [thing] with [number] people who care.

  1. 33

How we work at [company]: [number] people, async by default, one meeting a week. Hiring a [role] who likes that.

  2. 34

A normal week on our team: [day] planning, [day] demos, the rest is building. Calendars stay mostly empty.

  3. 35

We write things down. Decisions, reasons, mistakes. If you like reading a doc more than sitting in a meeting, you'd fit in.

  6. 48

Our [role] position is filled, but we'll hire a [role] in [timeframe]. Follow along if that one's for you.

  7. 49

怎样写才有效果

  • Put the salary range in the tweet or the first reply. It saves you and the candidate a call, and it filters out people the role cannot pay.
  • Describe the first month of work, not the perks. Candidates want to picture the actual job.
  • Write one honest line about what is hard. The right person reads it as a reason to apply.
  • Pin the hiring post while the role is open and answer every reply under it. Questions in public save you private emails.
  • Close the loop publicly when the role is filled. It shows candidates you treat people well, which helps the next search.
